@learnwithwood A4: #1stchat I'm a big fan of different options for big projects. For a Romeo and Juliet unit, my teacher gave us 4 options for the final project. We could write a paper, make a video, poster, or diorama. We got to pick something that played to our strengths!

@nicolejerome @learnwithwood #1stchat I think that being open to student's questions and thoughts is so important! I had a teacher that would tease students for asking "silly questions". They were trying to be fun, but I was scared to ask for help in that class.

@learnwithwood #1stchat A3: I would like to give students a voice through writing. For students that are reluctant to speak out in class, I think writing is a great chance to make their thoughts heard. I would like for them to write and share in small groups.

@learnwithwood A2: In the future, I would like to connect the material to current events or the student's lives. I think that this will make them care about what is going on in the classroom!

@learnwithwood A1: For me, it means that students are invested in their learning. They are emotionally and mentally excited to engage with the material and/or their classmates. In my room, I would like to hear focused or intense conversations. #1stchat
