@learnwithwood A4: #1stchat Although I don't have my own classroom, I think it is important that teachers offer chances for the students to choose what they learn about next. Students are most interested in topics that they like!

@FirstAtBat I think it’s important to keep students engaged throughout, and even after a lesson/unit. This can be done by facilitating discussion, asking questions, encouraging students to apply background knowledge to new concepts, reflecting on the lesson, etc.
