Despite the chilly weather this morning, you all did amazing! 📷 Friday night is our final game of the season, and as a reminder, we don’t have school that day. Please arrive by 6:15 PM so we can make sure everything is ready for our 8th grade marchers and Senior Night.

🎡 Enjoy the carnival after the parade! 🎶 Assembly Performance: 8 PM, call time 7:45 PM. Important: ❌ No instrument cases, hat boxes, hangers, or garment bags at the parade! 🏈 Fall sport athletes can wear their jersey instead of the band top.

Here's a quick reminder of everything happening:

🕖 7:15 AM - Morning marching band rehearsal with the alumni band.
🚛 The band trailer will be at school with your uniforms!
🎺 Parade Call Time: 5:30 PM at the corner of West Avenue and Garfield.

Hey everyone! The band uniforms will be returning from the cleaners this Wednesday at 1:30 PM. I could really use some help unloading them and getting everything back in order. If you're available to lend a hand, that would be awesome! Thanks in advance! 😊

I was informed that the construction supervisor will have the workers park in the south lot, allowing us to park in the loading dock area for easier access to the band room.

Sunscreen: Please be sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses

Restrooms: The concession stand restrooms will be open during camp.

Water: Make sure to bring water to stay hydrated.

Lunch and Rehearsals: We will use the band room for lunch (if you bring one) and some music rehearsals.

Band Camp Reminders

Uniform Sizing: If you are a new member or need a different uniform size, please fill out the uniform sizing sheet.

Parking: Please park in the far west lot by the bus barn/track to avoid the construction area.

Featuring both the jazz band and concert band, this concert promises something for everyone. We're thrilled about the performance and eagerly anticipate your attendance.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 18th, for the Spring Band Concert at ESMS Auditorium. The concert will begin at 7 PM, with students expected to arrive by 6:40 PM for warm-up.

Students attending the State Solo and Ensemble Festival tomorrow must be in the Band Room by 6 AM. There is no admission fee for spectators wishing to watch their students perform. The festival will take place at Davenport West High School.

During halftime, we will perform our closer just before the crowning of the queen.

Also, a reminder that all playing tests/chair auditions must be completed by next Friday. The pep band dates can be found in the band room and on the BCSD Music Calendar.

The pep assembly will start at 8 p.m., and the marching band needs to be in the pep band section at 7:40, ready to perform.

Tomorrow evening, the call time is 6:15 p.m. The band will perform most of their halftime show during pre-game.

For the parade, call time is at 5:30 p.m. We will meet at the corner of West Avenue and Garfield, just west of the Bridge at Perkins Park. Band members are encouraged to wear their sports jerseys instead of our band tops.

Today is the Homecoming Parade and Carnaval/Pep Assembly. Band students, please remember to pick up your uniforms from the band trailer on the loading dock after school and return them to the trailer after the parade.
