DELAYED OPENING OF RT120 & RT 83 RAILROAD CROSSING - Rt 83 & 120, which was scheduled to reopen on 5/11, will now open on 5/14 as the Railroad has run into some issues that need correcting.
This morning the Higgins family donated 4 AED's to the Grayslake Fire District in honor of fallen Grayslake Battalion Chief Mike Higgins. BC Higgins passion of saving lives will continue on with this generous donation.

We have received many telephone calls at the fire station that should have been calls to 911. If you think it could be an emergency, its an emergency.
For health issues or a potentially unsafe conditions call 911. Phone calls to the fire station may delay responses
Emergency crews in Ogle, DeKalb, McHenry, and Lake counties are investigating dozens of reports of an outside natural gas odor. Nicor Gas is attempting to find the source of the gas leak at this time.
The Grayslake Fire District coat drive collected a total of 299 coats and a number of hats, shoes and scarves. This beat our goal of 100 and it was all due to the generosity of all of you. Thank you everyone for making this coat drive a HUGE success! Special thanks to WRLR Radio.
