Question: When did Rep Burlison start believing Campaigning for re-election ISN’T necessary?
Has he even held ONE in-person town hall, public forum, or any sort of meet & greet to talk with his constituents and secure his voter base? Not another event hosting him as a speaker or endorser, like he actually brought the event to the table?
Nope.
Has he given up? Is this the sign?
Telling you guys. After 16 years, politicians aren’t motivated as they first were, and not with $1M net worth in their pocket.
MISSOURI AND AMERICA DESERVE FRESH ENERGY! 🇺🇸

It’s an endorsement. Not a “here’s the bidding i’m doing for them.” I don’t own anything of theirs, they can support a candidate they feel is in their best interest. I sat down with them personally and we spoke about very relevant and current up to date issues that Missouri faces.
None of the things you mentioned, were discussed. So not sure where that’s coming from.
It was all about putting Missouri and American Labor workers first, ensuring that in state American’s are provided opportunities and apprenticeships before they are allowed to pull from out of state. We went over a lot of solid data that supports workers, labor unions, and anything that puts American workers first.
I’m proud to announce that after sitting down with the leaders of the Springfield Labor Council AFL-CIO, I’ve earned their strong endorsement. This endorsement shows I’m fighting for and looking out for labor union workers all across Southwest Missouri! I’m fired up and ready to lead our state with bold, new, accountable leadership that will create the best opportunities our hardworking families deserve right here at home.

@aletheuein Nope. Sure didn’t have to seek it out. Also if that’s what they stand for, that’s their business. I have my own policies and stances I go by. Thanks.
🚨Missouri, this is the choice staring us in the face.🚨
Congressman Burlison looked Missouri families straight in the eye and voted NO on the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act: the bipartisan bill that would have poured billions into fixing our roads, repairing our bridges, expanding broadband to every corner of the Ozarks, and delivering clean water to our communities.
He voted NO on creating thousands of good-paying jobs right here in southwest Missouri.
He voted NO on modernizing our district so our kids don’t have to leave for better opportunities.
He voted NO on progress while the rest of the country moved forward.
Missouri doesn’t need another Washington politician who shows up just to vote no.
We need a fighter who will work across the aisle to bring every dollar of infrastructure money home to MO-7 — to Springfield, Joplin, Branson, the rural counties, and every small town in between.
That’s why I’m running for Congress.
I will fight for the infrastructure our families deserve; safer roads, faster internet, cleaner water, and real economic growth because Missouri first means delivering results, not excuses.
No more hurting us with “no” votes.
It’s time for a Congressman who says YES to Missouri’s future.
Vote GRAYSON HUNT for MO-7. AUGUST 4TH.
Share this post if you’re ready to send a message that Missouri is done being left behind.
Together, we’re taking our district back.

I sat down and thoroughly read Amendment 5 (the Income Tax Elimination and Sales Tax Changes Amendment). Here’s my final takeaway, and why.
At its core, the amendment proposes a massive overhaul of Missouri's tax code by phasing out the state individual income tax and replacing the lost revenue through expanded sales and use taxes.
Two key provisions stand out I do not support:
Sales Tax Expansion: To offset the lost revenue, the legislature would be allowed to expand sales and use taxes. Any expansion or rate increase must be offset in the same legislation by a matching reduction in the individual income tax rate. Allows the legislature to impose new sales taxes for five years without the voter approval normally required.
Hancock Amendment Bypass: For five years, lawmakers could bypass the provision of Missouri’s “Hancock Amendment” that typically requires a statewide vote of the people for any significant tax increase. This allows the legislature to expand sales taxes without a public vote, provided the revenue goes toward reducing the income tax.
That’s why I cannot support Amendment 5 as written. Missouri families and small businesses deserve tax policy that is transparent, predictable, and ultimately accountable to voters — not a five-year finance contract.
Unpredictable. The one thing finances shouldn’t be. #MO7 #PeopleOverProfit #VoteNOon5
I’m so sick of Netanyahu and Israel always being suggested on my feed.
How about, NO.
Blocked. Don’t need that propaganda in my feed.
Anybody else have this problem? Do you see it too ? @EvanAKilgore ?? @RealCandaceO ??? OVER IT.
@EricBurlison It didn’t show up overnight. If you talked to your constituents then you’d know exactly why they don’t want them. They live it everyday, dingo.
Informing voters of what I stand for and what we will fight for in D.C on behalf of Missouri is the key to this entire race.
It’s time we have a Representative that is present in the community, connecting with constituents from D.C to SWMO on priorities to make America more SAFE and more AFFORDABLE.
Missouri has an amazing opportunity to elect a candidate who wants to walk away knowing he served his constituents and made some permanent major progress in a short time. I want to be that candidate for YOU.
Inform your friends. Inform other voters. Please read and learn about myself and the other candidates in this race; you have the ability to make an impact like never before.

Thanks for the question, Jake.
Rep. Burlison has a conservative voting record and has called for spending cuts before, but after years in Washington he’s become part of the comfortable establishment. The incentives there reward chasing big national projects and special interests more than staying focused on everyday Missourians back home.
A clear example: he’s actively promoting massive data centers and the AI boom that drives them, telling southwest Missouri communities we should “absolutely want” them; even as families worry about higher utility bills, water strain, noise, and the impact on our rural way of life. He frames it as national security and economic necessity and recently warned against “demonizing” AI and data centers the way some once did nuclear power. The pattern is the same one Auditor Fitzpatrick is highlighting at the state level: without proactive, responsible course corrections now, the costs later (to families, resources, and budgets) will be much more painful.
I’d do better because I’m not part of that system. I’m a new generational constitutional conservative from right here in southwest Missouri who actually lives these struggles every day. My campaign is 100% self-funded and grassroots: no PACs, no special interests, no strings attached. I’ve pledged term limits and I’m running to bring fresh energy and real accountability.
I’d focus on Missouri First policies that deliver for families: responsible spending reforms that actually lower costs instead of protecting waste or inviting projects that strain our resources, securing the border to stop the fentanyl crisis, supporting our rural communities and small businesses, and making government responsive with real constituent service. Leaders who make the tough but necessary choices proactively — like Fitzpatrick is urging — rather than kicking the can or prioritizing big development over the people who live here.
It’s time for constitutional conservatives who stay connected to everyday Missourians and actually work for families again, not just the status quo.
What issues in Missouri matter most to you right now? I’d love to hear your feedback and input.
@RepEricBurlison Cutting essential programs that Americans rely on won’t win your re-election when a large portion of your constituents rely on those programs.
You’re on notice, and August 4th voters will make the final say that all the grandstanding conspiracies come to an end.
Seeing all the responses from @HunterBiden is honestly refreshing since I rarely see public figures actually respond to people.
Keep up the good work. Keep the faith. You can only take things one day at a time, and I think it’s a great thing for people to see you for who you are, not what the media wants to make of you. Stay strong. 💪🏼

Missouri’s 7th District has not been truly competitive in a long time. For most of my life, voters here have seen the same political names cycle through while this district gets treated like a guaranteed seat instead of a district that deserves real representation.
This Kalshi prediction market shows exactly what happens when a race is viewed as already decided: the incumbent sits at 95%, while challengers barely register. Prediction markets are not votes. They reflect expectations, not the final outcome. Expectations only change when voters decide they have had enough of politics as usual.
I am running to change that. I am fiscally and politically conservative. I believe in limited government, protecting privacy, opposing government overreach like Flock surveillance, lowering the cost of living, and making healthcare more affordable, including prescription price caps that help people regardless of insurance coverage.
Rep. Burlison has the advantage of incumbency and name recognition, but that should not excuse a lack of active campaigning, voter outreach, or accountability. His last major campaign message was when he filed for re-election in March. That is not enough.
Missouri does not need a representative who treats this seat like it is already decided. We need someone who shows up, listens, works, and fights for the people of Southwest Missouri.
This race may look impossible on a prediction market today, but every serious political upset starts the same way: with people deciding the numbers are not the final word.
We can hold strong conservative values and still demand better leadership, cleaner government, and real results.
Follow the campaign. Share the message. EARLY VOTING BEGINS JULY 21ST - AUGUST 3RD!
ELECTION DAY IS AUGUST 4TH - LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN MISSOURI!
