Sophomore season ended with some honors:
- Mid-State League Second Team
- All Academic MSL (4.0+ GPA)
- Christian Leadership Award
- Varsity Co-Captain
The morning after being knocked out of the state tourney means turning frustration into motivation…first in the gym…junior year has begun! #BeElite#Blessed
Worthington Christian came to visit & I got my “Caught Stealing” total up to double digits…then punched a bases loaded jam over the SS for a RBI
#Blessed#BeElite
W @ Fisher Catholic, went 3 for 3 (1 Double) & a SAC FLY. Our team compiled 16 Hits! Shout out my boy Eli with the W on the mound and only allowing 2 Hits!

5/4/26 I made my first Varsity start on the mound. We beat Miller 10-0 & a complete game shutout!
5.0 innings pitched, 2 Hits, 4 K’s, 3 BBs (all in 1st), 71 pitches total! Great team defense behind me!
At the plate: 2 for 3, Double, single, 2RBIs #blessed
Up 11-9 in the bottom of the 4th our team exploded for a 12-run inning to beat Bishop Ready 23-9! Here’s my hit from that inning, let’s keep that offense rolling!

Couple highlights from a BIG team W @ Bishop Rosecrans! They keep trying to run & we keep spreading the word…”Thou Shall Not Steal!”
Plus a Pop-up OUT to end the 6th inning: find ball, toss mask, secure the catch against the backstop!

Last season we took an L from Northeastern, we flipped the script last night with an 11-2 W! Congrats to my boy Eli on his first W on the mound; awesome to be behind the plate for it! Here’s my lead-off double to start the game
#blessed#BeElite
Two more Caught Stealing! Moved to the lead-off spot: singled over SS then scored from 1st on a RC gap shot by our 2-hole who’s crushing baseballs! Also took a HBP & BB
We faced last season’s Mid-State League Pitcher of the Year who attends our rival school…I went 2 for 2 with a BB. Also had a blocked strike 3 tag-out playing Catcher. Through 5 games my OPS is .944, working to get it over 1.000
Took the mound in our Varsity scrimmage vs Central Crossing with bases loaded (after they had a 5 run rally) & got the K to end the inning. Came back out for 2 more innings of work: 2.1 IP, 4K’s, 0 BB’s, 1 H, 9 batters faced
First Varsity Scrimmage vs Briggs, our pitchers threw well. Had 3 put-outs to end 3 innings. Caught a guy stealing 2nd, throw behind at 1st, & blocked a hot breaking ball to seal the strike-out. Great glove work by our infielders, we’re building chemistry!
PBR Showcase from Sunday had me in the Top 5 for Catcher Velo.
Metrics are a means of measuring movements; these metrics are motivation to make myself better!
Here are a few unofficial clips from Prep Baseball Report (PBR) Ohio’s Scout Day this weekend for BJE! It’s another measuring stick to know and more motivation to grow!
