I started directing a show for the first time this week. Like, I am directing a show that people will be able to *see* come next month... that's so insanely exciting!!!! I've missed theatre so much and now I have something with my name on it with actors I love. I'm so happy.
She fully threw herself on the ground during Worst Pies and just CONTINUED??? And Josh Groban needs no words. This production was so beautiful and jarring. Genuinely so glad we decided to try for day-of tickets.
My best friend and I saw Sweeney Todd today and.... holy shit, that ending. I also need to mention that Annaleigh Ashford is a master of her craft- the control she has over her voice and body is INCREDIBLE.
