Imagine, if you will: an ordinary girl born in the ordinary way but sired by an extraordinary father. An early influencer of sci-fi and horror whose contributions to pop culture would rival the size of the national debt. A true visionary, a master of both shadow and substance and of things and ideas whose daughter is about to visit us at the Grand Rapids Comic-Con.
Tomorrow.
OK, we have been lax lately in announcements for guest appearances--and we have a lot confirmed--and we will be doing a flood of them very soon.
We are starting with a new entry in a series of children of legendary Hollywood performers, and this one is very special as her famous father is one of the most influential creators in the history of pop culture. If a Mount Rushmore of pop culture creators was made then this person's father would have to be considered to be on that mountain.
Don't believe us? Here is a list of people from a major news source that have stated publicly that the creator in question was a major influence in their own works: George R.R. Martin, R.L. Stine, Stephen King, Jordan Peele, M. Night Shyalaman, Mel Brooks, J.J. Abrams, Guillermo De Toro, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter, Carol Burnett, plus there are many, many more. Even though this creation is over 70 years old now, its influence echoes throughout history and to this day is regularly aired on cable TV. Fans of classic TV are going to find this one an absolutely must meet, and we already believe that her panel on her father will be one of the must-see events of the show.
We will drop a clue that will give it away tomorrow.
The time is finally here! Our Artist Alley Application and Author Application are now live until next Friday June 5th 2026 @ 5 PM
