The “male loneliness epidemic” conversation keeps getting reduced to sex, and while that’s part of it, it’s not the whole problem.

A lot of men aren’t lonely because women won’t date them. They’re lonely because their lives have no real-life infrastructure. Fewer friends, fewer nights out, fewer groups, fewer hobbies that put them around people. Just screens, anonymous “friends,” and a whole second personality built for the internet.

And it’s not even male-only. Everyone is more isolated than they used to be. The crisis is less “no one loves me” and more “I don’t have a life that makes me feel needed, known, or useful.”

I think parents want the u16 social media restriction but the way that is implemented will effectively need ID

One of the craziest things about the UK rape gang scandal is that it's largely considered a 'right wing' concern.

- Spiked with heroin, leading to addiction and anorexia (weighed 5 stone/~70 lbs at 18).
- Coerced into Islamic conversion and "marriage" to an illegal migrant abuser who beat her daily
- gave birth to a child with health issues from her damaged body.

I interviewed a prev Govt minister, who wrote the Online Safety Bill, and asked if they could tell me how a VPN worked. They couldn’t. These are the people writing these laws.

This new tool is another dangerous form of silent oppression that once again uses children’s safety as a guise to control the masses.

We can protect children online, but that starts at home, with parents, not in the Home Office, GCHQ, Apple, Google, Microsoft or Samsung.
