This month, we’re highlighting a few innovators and innovations creating spaces that make mental health feel more accessible, more human, and more real.
Who’s doing work in this space that you love? Tag them below so we can keep learning from each other 🧡
Danielle-Elizabeth joined Greater Than Tech in 2024 through our cybersecurity program and has continued to demonstrate her dedication as she’s grown within GTT 💻✨ It’s been incredible to see her step into her voice and grow as a leader along the way.
During our recent workshop, Nastasja T., engineer at Collins Aerospace, guided our alumnae through how to approach AI in school and professional settings.
Thank you to @YMCASanDiego for providing the space and making this session possible 🧡
Our GTT Alumnae had the opportunity to attend the Scientella x QuidelOrtho 2026 STEM Career Exploration Event, an open space for junior high and high school girls to explore, ask questions, and learn directly from professionals in the field.
At the Nonprofit Leadership & Governance Symposium, our cofounders Dr. Brittany Wheeler, Director of Education, and Jasmine LeFlore, Executive Director, joined the “Money Helps. Learning Together Sustains.” panel alongside fellow Equity Impact Grant recipients.
Darcy & Hazel first connected with Greater Than Tech through Defy Gravity and are now part of our GTT Alumnae Club 💻 Their VR Capstone Project Lights Out 💡 makes anesthesiology training more accessible and hands-on, your support makes journeys like theirs possible 🧡
Join us for a hands-on AI Workshop for middle & high school girls where you’ll get to explore, experiment, and actually try things out, no experience needed.

We had the opportunity to be part of both the F.A.N.C.Y. Teen Girls Expo and STEM Pi Day with MANA de San Diego, connecting with students and families through hands-on STEM experiences, shared resources, and real conversations about what’s possible.
At the F.A.N.C.Y EXPO, Dr. Brittany led the Rewrite Reality AI workshop @detourfancy
Moments like these matter, creating space for students to question, create, and think critically about the tools shaping their world.
Jasmine LeFlore, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Greater Than Tech, shared with students the importance of their “Un-resume” as a keynote speaker at the Women Who Inspire Conference at San Diego State University.
Our GTT Alumnae Club recently had the opportunity to step inside The Brain Observatory for a closer look at how scientists study the human brain.
Thank you, Dr. Annese for welcoming our alumnae and for such a insightful and educational tour. 🧠
International Women’s Day weekend with GTT 🧡
We spent the weekend showing up across our community, supporting girls in STEM, connecting with women leaders, and learning alongside our alumnae.
Grateful for everyone who made this weekend so meaningful.
During Black History Month, our community came together for the SoulCycle Block Party Ride at SoulCycle La Jolla to celebrate wellness, connection, and investing in the next generation.
Thank you to everyone who rode, supported, and showed up for our community. 💛
March with GTT means continuing to create meaningful opportunities for students and alumnae.
Know of any STEM events happening this month? Share them in the comments, we’re always glad to uplift our community 💛
One of our favorite moments from Tech Over Tapas 2026 🏁✨
Our Alumnae Club stepped into coach mode, teaching Derby Jockeys the basics of coding, then cheering them on as they raced. What started as a lesson turned into teamwork, laughter, and a whole lot of fun.
Engineers Week is a reminder that the technology we use, the roads we travel, and the systems that keep our communities running all started as someone’s idea. And that someone could be you.
