A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

@Vercingetorix00 Hannibal and I are planning a small invasion of Rome, mind revolting when that happens?

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

@HannibalUMBC We should totally invade Rome. You take Italy, I'll grab Greece. They'll never see it coming! #ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

Well that didn't work out quite as planned....

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

Their ruler, Tomyris, was so offended by my little trick that she's decided to lead the rest of her forces into battle!
#EasyWin #ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

It worked! Their forces got so drunk that they couldn't even defend themselves!

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

Apparently the fools don't know what wine is! Maybe I'll leave them some...
#ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

So there's this tribe in the southern Kwarezm desert called the Messagetae. My advisers say I should attack them

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

All hail @GreatKingCyrus: King of Babylon, King of Sumer and Akkad. King of the four corners of the world

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

October 2, 540 BCE, Babylon surrendered without a fight, I've detained their king.
#ThatWasEasy #ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

Well this is getting boring, I think I'll have my general Mazares clean up the rest of Asia Minor.
#BabylonIsTheBetterTarget #ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

Yep they attacked me, to bad for them.
#ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

Looks like the Lydians are trying to stir something up on my western border....
#ProbablyNotAGoodIdea #ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

Its 559 BCE and I've assumed the throne. Unfortunately I've got to accept the Medians as my overlords.

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

I'm in my early 20's, married, and have 5 kids.
#WowThatWasQuick #ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

I'm 10 now and there's no hiding it, I'm no herdsman's son. The king noticed me today and interrogated my stepfather.
#ANCS350

[Cyrus the Great @GreatKingCyrus]

Thank the gods! The herdsman and his wife decided to take me in! They're calling me Agradates now.
