Great And Spacious

Faith ⛪️. Family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒. Fillers 👄. A little bit of Babylon 💅. Holding to the rod but making it aesthetic 👌

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@TheExMoCringe So in other words, teach your kids to masturbate? What an idiot.

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

My principled approach is give strong preference to LDS worthy kids first and foremost. Then when there are none left to find, give outsiders a chance. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I find wanting to compete at the expense of giving LDS kids a chance and because we’re getting into bed with private equity and other business interests purely for the sake of winning is gross. Sure, call it missionary work to justify it

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

BYU needs to abolish sports. The program has outlived its usefulness as a missionary tool. The majority of athletes are not even LDS anymore. It’s all about money and it’s gross.

[BYU FOOTBALL @BYUfootball]

BYU Athletics and PV3 Enterprises have announced a landmark long-term partnership that represents the largest philanthropic commitment in the history of BYU Athletics.

The partnership combines a substantial investment in football facilities and a customized NIL initiative that includes agreements with more than 40 current BYU student-athletes.

Because there are countless institutions for non members to attend and select few spaces for faithful saints to go where they can get an education without living in a cesspool of filth and be surrounded by others of their faith. It probably doesn’t seem that special if you’re living in Utah, but it’s a big deal for people living in the minority their whole lives dealing with persecution trying to live the gospel. To take that opportunity away just so we can be competitive at sports is sad, IMO. It has nothing to do with not wanting non members or looking down on them. It’s a simple supply and demand problem.

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@ZakHaws @maklelan Except he asked him directly about his LDS faith…

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

Huge respect to this exmo Mike Jones (aka Garand Thumb ) who did a far better job evangelizing for the Mormon church and our beliefs on the Shawn Ryan podcast than @maklelan did on Rogan.

This is how it’s done, y’all.

[Thoughtful-Faith @ThoughtfulSaint]

Situation: The largest podcast ever for the first time invites on a Latter-day Saint on his podcast. He is asked about his personal faith. He has the opportunity to share his testimony to the world in front of tens of millions of people.

Alma: "stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death"

Dan:..

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@SammyJdot @byu_homer Well there we strongly disagree

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@cheesefries73 Any and all PE deals are bad

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

I’ve always loved the verbiage “help meet” and “cleave” in the scriptures to describe a healthy relationship. Selfishness and comparison has no place in the home. This is a hard saying because playing roles is difficult and it’s easy to look outward and think someone isn’t doing as much as you

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@NoblestCalling Both roles are hard. Life is hard. That’s the point.

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@pbarlow1966 @Howard_Sprague I don’t have friends

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@JolliestUte Pony up the cash and they’ll stick around

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@PathosX48259 @TheMercianNews Unfortunately once a caged predatory animal like this has had a taste of man flesh, the likelihood of it attacking again goes up dramatically. It becomes increasingly unsafe for the trainers/zookeepers to be around. It’s not the tiger’s fault, but it’s the unfortunately reality

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@SammyJdot @byu_homer Now you’re catching on.

But in all seriousness, nobody is willing to engage that question because I think it’s an uncomfortable topic. As BYU tries to get more competitive in sports, member representation is rapidly dwindling.

If nobody cares, that’s cool. Just say so.

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@bravesfan_atl Satire is lost on you, I see. Did you check how many girls in the stands at cougar game have fillers?

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@I_swampfaye Strong agree, that would allow all of the middle and low tier universities to fail that couldn’t stand on academics alone

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@pbarlow1966 @Howard_Sprague Friend are overrated

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@byu_homer @SammyJdot So you think all of the students and athletes should be replaced with non-members? Or is there an ideal ratio in your mind?

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@TheBlogLawyer @TelfordCade Keep saying media whore, it’s you word of the month!

As a lawyer, try using a thesaurus to mix it up every once in a while.

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@saltcitysportut Check out the replies on my latest post for examples
of people losing their religion over an opinion on sports. I would argue no fanbase is more serious than BYU’s, so much so they regularly check their principles at the door when it comes to the cougars

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@SammyJdot There are people in the replies telling me I need to repent because of sports. If that’s not unhinged, I don’t know what is

[Great And Spacious @GreatNSpacey]

@ja855676064 @maklelan @GarandThumb1 Same. Love his content
