remember when someone tried to swap $50m for aave and ended up with only about $36k?
this wasn't a hack.
they were trying to swap a huge amount through a pool that didn't have enough aave, and the trade ended up giving them a ridiculously small amount back.
that got me thinking about how much information we actually need before swapping.
so i checked out @jumperapp advanced.
i swapped eth on base to usdc on base, and jumper checked different exchanges and showed me the best return.
i went with the best return.
but what really caught my attention was everything it showed me before i signed:
โ minimum amount i'd receive
โ price impact
โ max slippage
โ exchange rate
โ network cost
โ estimated time
everything was right there before i confirmed the swap.
and for larger trades, jumper flow can split the trade across different liquidity sources to help with execution.
as a user, this is a really solid trading experience.
@sajid_fx Of course,
You can have a good strategy that works fine, but a bad psychology will make you broke, even with a ๐ฏ good strategy, because now, you don't trade with proper risk management, you over trade, you trade with emotions, you are greedy, you make revenge trading, so yeah
@deartrader__ Everything works in the market, every strategy,
Just stick to what you're building and cut the noise of those telling you to follow their edge, putting it as the best strategy that works, the market will show you your path as long as you follow it.
