@Rainmaker1973 I feel like this person would be one of those people who is really cool for like the first five minutes you hang out with him and quickly becomes the most irritating person you know.
@DavidBranscum I am sorry for your loss, your dad seemed like a great guy.
And I took your advice and read through his timeline a bit; you're right, it's a window into a funny, gentle soul.
Godspeed to him as he makes his journey home.
Took me like 3 seconds and one AI bot to look it up, he's not described as small:
"In Homer's The Odyssey, Achilles is not described as small. In fact, he's portrayed as a formidable warrior of great stature and strength, though he only appears in the underworld (Book XI, the Nekuia) when Odysseus visits.
Homer's descriptions in both epics consistently portray Achilles as physically imposing and powerful, which aligns with his reputation as the greatest Greek warrior. There's no indication in The Odyssey that he was small in stature."
@Hoang_HQ Everything about this scene is so ham handed:
1. The "lookit my gang tattoo" so sublime...ON MY FOREHEAD
2. The pretenting to be casual sling of the camera onto the shoulder as to make it as obvious as possible
3. A thug with a terrifying moniker of "The Giggler"
I had little trouble with this, even at 900wpm. Then again, I've learned three foreign languages.
If you've ever studied another language, to get to the intermediate stage you realize you need to move past trying to translate each and every word in your head when listening to a native speaker and instead focus on the overall context and it's a huge breakthrough point.
This exercise is so similar.
@Thefactsdude Nice house...Wood paneling, seedy furniture, crap and clutter everywhere.
I guess he figured if I'm going to be a chomo, might as well look the part.
@0xSweep Dude, why did you subject me to this horrid video again.
2 years had gone by and I had forgotten all about this chick and her NerdGansta larping.
Gonna have to go listen to "Lemon Pound Cake" again to get this shit outta my head.
@EricMoses_m At 58, I read something in a novel about aging several years ago.
It was the line "eventually every man reaches a point his his life where he stops looking forward and starts looking back..."
Thankfully, I have not reached that point, not yet. 🙂
@SimplyBitcoin I've been at this since 2016, people are so impatient, this drop is nothing.
I rode this train down from 20k to 3k, from 60k to 30k and from 120k to here.
I'm still on it and never getting off. If you don't have the guts or the patience, then get off the damn train.
