Electoral reform is needed.
They are just following what has happened for Centuries, either ignoring the need for Modernisation or fearing the reduction of power it would bring.
There aren't any fast solutions, but the sooner change begins the sooner this will improve.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be comfortable financially, to support you and yours.
However, the current Political System is not working.
Moderate Socialism seems like the fairest way to run our country.

Many put more thought into voting someone off an entertainment program than who to vote for in a General Election.
Certainly a different voting system is a start.
More co-operation between the parties is needed as well.
