📜 We outline how we achieve a sustainable token economy for all actors in the IOTA network. Our thought-out tokenomics balance inflation with deflationary mechanics.

🔒 In IOTA Rebased, staking and validation play central roles. Active validators and stakers secure the network, and earn rewards. Each epoch mints 767.000 new $IOTA tokens, resulting in a 6% annual inflation (279.955.000 $IOTA tokens minted yearly over 365 epochs). This inflation progressively reduces.

🔥To counterbalance inflation, all transaction fees are burned, permanently removing the tokens from circulation. This deflationary force ensures long-term sustainability while reducing the circulating supply over time.

🗝️ Transparency is key. At the end of every epoch, minting and burning operations are processed and publicly visible in the IOTA Rebased Explorer—ensuring trust and accountability for all participants.
