@leftymanatee@ValeWolf@MedicGrandpa@ask_aubry Its a guy that calmly walked around punching random people while walking, that then got sent to a mental institution before they know how to charge him... I feel like if you weren't disingenuous you wouldn't be banking on "well where did this article say what the results were?"
@ValeWolf@MedicGrandpa@ask_aubry well you're literally pointing at a video of a medically insane person being crazy as if it shows something about the wider society being violent towards women.
It doesn't negate your point, it negates that this is an example of your point
@benoitantoine @flinkart The indirect misuse like the training is a separate topic. Your original comment implied irony/hypocrisy in people being willing to pay 6$ for AI while saying that real art is too expensive, as if its a contradiction that they would be unable to reconcile. It's 6$
@benoitantoine @flinkart What those types are saying is ignorant and disparages a beautiful, and already disincentivized, profession.
But you're conflating "Greedy artists dont deserve that much, so ill use AI" with "I cant pay this much so ill use AI".
The Former is idiotic, latter is just a bummer
@benoitantoine @flinkart Ah, thats what you mean. So how is that angle relevant? This entire AI topic is about easy production.
The people that want this want X no. of illustrations of a forest pond and are open to spend ~6$. The background ratio of effort/cost is completely irrelevant to them
@flinkart @benoitantoine Im sure you understand how dismissable this argument is. You have a lot of other avenues of dunking on AI art that aren't stupid
