If you have a bike you can keep it safe today by getting down here to Prncesshay to have it marked! The local Police are here until 12.
And it's free. Once marked, your bike will be put on the national bike register so that if it's stolen you can be connected up.
Could you be the 200th person to sign this petition asking for better bus lanes in Exeter?

Yet more data released on the Exeter Active Streets Trial.
This time by South West Ambulance Trust. They have shared data comparing ambulance response times during the Trial (Aug 23- June 24) vs same months pre Trial (Aug 22-June 23).

We wrote this thread in early September with our estimate of what traffic levels would welcome kids back to primary schools in Heavitree & Whipton.
Devon County Council data now out
We did pretty well.....
So delighted that @ExeterCouncil have FINALLY divested from the fossil fuel investing Barclays Bank. It was a long fought campaign with lots of different people involved in lots of ways. Thank you everyone who made this happen! #climate#ClimateAction#fossilfuels#GreenParty
As I spoke about in committee, I struggled to reconcile the limited data we were presented with against the negative narrative. It makes me so sad that the trial wasn't allowed to run its course to allow for meaningful data to be collected at all times of year / season

Devon County Council has continued to release data from the whole period of the Active Streets Trial in Exeter.
Three months after the Trail was suspended.
This is data Cllrs never saw.
1/ Did you know that if you live in Exeter, everything you put in your black bin is taken to a power station in Marsh Barton and burned to create electricity? I went there this week. Let’s dive into the details. A thread 🧵#WasteToEnergy#Exeter
Hi @DevonCC 👋
Looks like we need a lot more “NO ENTRY” signage for Magdalen rd please 🤦🏻♂️
@DC_Police have said they need to see “the vehicle committing a clear violation with signs visible” and the nearest are approx 200m down the bottom of the road 🤷🏻♂️
Such a great morning looking after our new trees at Haven woodland, putting mulch at their roots, and generally making sure they are growing and thriving, which almost all of them are! Lovely time with these fab ladies and so many residents and helpers! #Green#Exeter#TreesRule
This is fueling a culture war over a *trial* scheme to make streets safer & less polluted.
Even using military language: "A *huge army* of furious Exeter residents... descended upon an exhibition to voice their anger."
We deserve more balanced reporting. https://t.co/h9Jzx7j28H
Lovely to join Nigel's farewell. As Vicar of @StDavids_Exeter
& @StMikes_Exeter he has served the Church and Community over the last 5 years though many ups and downs. Words we heard a lot of today were 'kind' and 'wisdom'.

'The Greens have been urging the council to rebuild the bridge and included it as part of their rejected (by Labour) budget amendments earlier in the year, describing it as a “vital link.”' https://t.co/nwVnZMmWgk
