Thrillled to meet @GretaThunberg today in @LinlithgowVisit and tell her about @greenbattlelin. She was enjoying our beautiful loch & landscape.
How wonderful would it be if she helped us save it? Maybe she will follow us on X?

Let’s not allow developers in, even if this patch is not destined to be a building site it will be right next door to one – not something the woodpecker is likely to hang around to see. Download the app now and help preserve Linlithgow’s best greenspace.

The bluebells are out in the woods by the River Avon. An evening stroll brings this beautiful sight with the backdrop of a greening wood and the soundtrack of woodpeckers, blackbirds and an array of passerines going about their business. Thread continues 👇
The University of Edinburgh are supporting us. They will analyze data from their Our Outdoors app showing how this space is used by us.
Pls Download the app and get recording your visits.

Greenspace stretching from Kettil’stoun Mains field to the Lagoon and the banks of the River Avon is under threat.
Once the site of the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge but now it is a haven for wildlife, walkers and swimmers. Let’s stop it becoming a building site.
