@billbar Speaking of RWA and tokenized assets… I feel like meld gold is a project worth supporting… it seems like maybe their jurisdiction is making markets harder than it needs to be. Kinda important RWA to keep on Algorand!
@ChadSteingraber I’m happy to see my grandma’s green velvet couch has been put to good use… BTW, there is a retail Euro stablecoin, EURQ on Algorand, for example. Resist CBDCs and programable money.
@benjamincowen Continuing to add buys between $52K and $58K incase of a giant wick from hell. I still expect a Bart at least to the mid 60’s. But if the 4 year cycle breaks here, I’m ready.
@AndrewMKotulak@RobinhoodCrypto@Algorand I minted the Diesel token on Algorand (DSL) a few months ago. I have no idea what to do with them, but it seems topical… Is this something that can be deployed at a later time?
@bilalFAME Part of me wonders if the $50 million hoard amassed by selling ALGO at the beginning of the year shouldn’t have been held and reinvested lower. I hope it wasn’t to purchase a golden parachute or 5…
@vladtenev Tokenization is great if it means true 1:1 ownership. If a brokerage fails, for example, the shares should remain in the owner’s wallet.
My concern is that the innovation here is “fractionalized” share lending, not blockchain secured share ownership.
@RealLindellTV@alisonintheknow@SenThomTillis Great. Thank you for the honesty of the politics. I do think that it is worth offering yield to SC holders (even if reduced). The party that fights for the people and not for the banks will win this one. Cap to 1% under the prime rate, for example…
@RealLindellTV@SenThomTillis@HawleyMO and @SenThomTillis should look into what is happening with tokenized grain. Allowing loans to be made against collateral. Leveraging carbon credits for planting crops and various other innovative applications. Why hold this back to protect fractional reserve banking?
@paulbarron Trump. Pretty clearly. I am surprised Genius got over the finish line after Trump and Melonia coin with WLFI and USD1, etc…
Unfortunately, Warren was an opportunist and leveraged the corruption to push the evil bank agenda.
@NexusSeven_@AlgoCloudz I would say “Reddit” which would probably cause X users to castigate me as well. Eventually, the hope is to bring left leaning people into the fold as well, right?
Can’t all be XRP MAGAtards…
@SenatorSlotkin First party to establish that they are people FIRST, wins. So far, it looks like the banking lobby is winning.
- yield on stablecoins
- protections for privacy in transactions
- access to DeFi and agentic payments
- sensible realtime auditing of RWA like stocks and PMs
@DigitalAssetGuy 2 more years of adoption and integration. I am okay if it doesn’t pass and the regulators give us sensible guidance. Might get to buy the late September dip.
Won’t vote for anyone that voted against it, however. I think it is time for a 3rd party to emerge.
@BitcoinMagazine Clarity is for the banks not for the people.
There are only a few policies that single issue voters care about and financial autonomy is one of them. 👈🏻
Dems should block it on the grounds that stable coin issuers should pass on the yield to their holders.
@RayJnr_1 Kill the bill IDGAF. Clarity and adoption will come without it. If candidates were smart, they’d start asking why banks want to block people from earning yield on stable-coins. Seems like a people first policy to me.
@frugalbc@al_goanna Is it considered “on-chain revenue” if validator fees pass through to the stakeholders?
If your stake generates 10 ALGO @ $2(hope) per day, does this qualify as generating revenue? I wonder how much actual “value” is created on chain.
Genuinely curious
@Coop_Daniels If it inflates through the node staking mechanism it is better than just ✨presto✨dump truck reloaded.
I want my node stake to generate passive income when ALGO is $2+ and the threshold is high.
