The Swedish tradition of Easter witches, has its roots in the old folk belief that witches would fly on their brooms to the mountain Blåkulla on Maundy Thursday to celebrate sabbath with the Devil.

The Easter witches were known for their love of coffee and it was believed that they would stop by people's homes on their way to Blåkulla, come down the chimney and brew huge batches of black coffee to bring with them to the sabbath.

⚡ Dutch troops opened fire on unidentified drones over a NATO nuclear weapons base

On Friday evening, the Dutch military fired at unidentified drones spotted above the Volkel Air Base — a NATO facility believed to store 10–15 U.S. B61 nuclear bombs, according to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

But by November 22, new drone sightings forced authorities to shut down both the civilian and military airports in Eindhoven — the second-busiest in the country. Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans said that “measures were taken,” but did not disclose details.

The wave of such incidents across Europe is growing. In recent months, Russian drones entered Polish airspace, Russian aircraft violated Estonian airspace, and multiple airports in Germany, Denmark, Spain, and Norway were temporarily shut down due to unidentified UAVs. Ursula von der Leyen has already called this a clear element of “hybrid warfare.”

Every morning, the butcher leaves a box of bones outside his shop. Not for profit, not for attention, but for the ones with no home, no bowl, no guarantee of a next meal.
