Spent a very enjoyable evening with #romileyyfc at their annual charity quiz as QM last night. Great social as usual and over £500 raised for charity.

Today we are pulling up ragwort. This is a poisonous plant particularly to horses pulling it up by the roots is the way and then burn it on a bonfire we get it on our river meadows due to the flooding #Farm24

Stood watching the field burn A nice half hours reflection as to my father's generation. Dad was born in 1920 so his relatives and friends were very much in the thick of WW2. He lost a cousin at El Alamein
