We are a fun bunch of Media and PR professionals, brought together by our passion for Greening Kenya. Our Goal: 100,000 trees before 5th June 2018.

The “Great Green Wall,” a man-made forest designed to stop desertification and fight climate change is meant to eventually cover more than 42 percent of China’s landmass. Al Gore called the initiative “the largest tree-planting programme the world has ever seen.” #GreeningKe

Apart from the obvious impacts of Urban tree planting research also shows that urban street tree planting and canopy enhancement can be a cost-effective

I'd like to challenge @UKenyatta and @WilliamsRuto to create a National Tree Planting day, where EVERY Kenyan plants a tree. That would mean, on that one day, Kenya will have at least 20 million more trees in ONE day. Schools, Universities, Government Offices must lead the way.
