Last year, @GreenIvyPSS students pitched #sustainabledesign ideas to execs at @idb_bank (who were in the process of moving offices).

One of those ideas was to create a #biophilicdesign green wall. That #greenwall just got installed & the CEO of @idb_bank wanted to say thanks!

Last week #2ndGrade students had the opportunity to speak with 2 scientists - @A_Hales_ALMA from @almaobs in Chile and @yarinaut from @NASA #MarsSampleReturn 🚀

They were able to ask questions and get their answers directly from the experts!

4th graders explored #AI & #MachineLearning on @codeorg by sorting objects to train the #AI to become smarter! After they earned their certificate, students shared ideas for how #AI could solve some of the world’s problems #HourOfCode2020 #CSEdWeek #EveryoneCanCode @GreenIvyPSS

Kindergarten students are using #Keynote to help tell their personal histories! Yesterday we learned how to change the colors of shapes & add the names of our family members. I made a template, shared w/each student & they add family names, photos & audio!

G3 Students explored civilizations & their legacies, then created their own! They had to determine the legacy of their civilization, then designed an artifact to represent the legacy in #AR using #Keynote & @ARMakrApp. Can’t wait to see how they turn out! @AppleEDU

My favorite part about being at a #PYP school is the emphasis on real-world issues & empowering students to take action & make a difference. This is from a 4th grader & is just one of many great student-led initiatives happening right now. Kids are amazing! #IB #inquiry
