i just registered the very real possibility of this and now i need to either be entered into a psych ward immediately or for the next episode to come out immediately
@greenlogist next time Barth touches him even accidentally or innocently he’ll have to fight his inner demons to stop thinking about what he gave in to that night
the “lust means letting desire control us” to “i can’t control myself at all” journey has just started to unravel for tanrak and it is already scratching every single itch in my brain
@vminmoon if this is him now and we are already inconsolable then how are we going to handle whatever he is going to unleash when he fully gives in to his desire
an underrated hit too already. what amazed me the most (besides catching me completely off guard because i didn’t expect the opening of the trailer to be thrown in the middle of the turmoil) is that they managed to direct and act out this scene in a way that made the viewers themselves wonder if he was so vividly feeling him all over his thoughts that he made him materialize in front of him. it /felt/ like a dream and a haze to the audience for a few seconds just like it did to tanrak, until everyone’s brains, alongside his, slowly clicked that he was actually sitting there. masterful decisions all across this ep.

there is a certain irony and beauty in tanrak walking under the light of the cross while barth, who's in the shadow, is the one who tells him not to be afraid of what could be in the dark
