@elektrotimmy@Alice_Weidel@elonmusk A template across Europe seems to be being followed. Leverage racism to keep the money flowing into oil and gas. They’ve got nowhere else to go but to release the racism genie
@SimonFoxWriter I’m constantly amazed how climate denial is now lumped people’s lists of political beliefs. You may as well chuck in ‘I don’t believe the Earth is spherical’ in there and really make a mockery of the other things on your list.
@terrychristian@_FlutterGirl Radicalised by the kind of content you’ve shared above, which is even more shocking given the context the guy was killed in front of his wife a child due to this content. Any moral high ground has by been lost when that’s the retort in a debate as that’s ultimately fascism
@terrychristian@_FlutterGirl This is where the narrative breaks down though isn’t it. It could equally be argued that he was shot by a kid from a conservative background who was radicalised and perverted by intolerant far left trans ideology.
@terrychristian@_FlutterGirl You do realise that in believing that that’s what he stood for, you’re emulating and extending the inclination of hatred by normalising, justifying and at worse, advocating his murder. I think everyone needs a good dose of not being online and talking to one another
@AdamJSchwarz I think to label this entire crowd ‘far right’ is to demonstrate the same level of generalisation that we damn when applied to race or sex and doesn’t help anything other than further division.
Very uneasy watching these videos of people celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk. The west is tearing itself apart, possessed by the disembodied entity of the screen. The short form content. Defaulting to tribalism. Warped and unrecognisable.
I have no love for Charlie Kirk or the politics he represents, but shooting your political enemies is not the solution.
Debate, fight the ideas, win the argument.
Resorting to violence, intimidation, murder is the behaviour of a coward.
Condolences to his wife and children
