I’m not going to RT Sunak but in his desperation he has plumbed a new depth. My political opponents aren’t enemies, or enemies of the people or a ‘criminal gang’. He debases his office and forgets act as PM of the UNITED Kingdom not seek to sow division
🚨 | NEW: Rishi Sunak will delay ANOTHER green policy that forces manufacturers to cover the costs of collecting and recycling packaging - all in a bid to win Tory support

🚨 | BREAKING: Chris Bryant slams Rishi Sunak over the Privileges Committee report
Bryant: "Do you think the MPs should apologise?"
Sunak: "I haven't gone through the report yet"
B: "You haven't... read the report?"
S: "Not from cover to cover"
B: "It's 3 pages long..."
Rishi Sunak enabled Boris Johnson's culture of rule-breaking and contempt for the British people.
He won't stand up to his own party, and he won't stand up for Britain.
It is also very important to note that every member of the privileges committee, including every Tory MP, concluded that Boris Johnson should be suspended for more than 10 days, the threshold of a possible by-election, even before he committed the contempt of leaking and attacking the committee's report. "We unanimously concluded that the minimum sanction we should recommend to the House should be suspension from the service of the House sufficient to engage the provisions of the Recall of MPs Act," the report says. They decided on this sanction because: "We have concluded...that in deliberately misleading the House Mr Johnson committed a serious contempt. The contempt was all the more serious because it was committed by the Prime Minister, the most senior member of the government. There is no precedent for a Prime Minister having been found to have deliberately misled the House. He misled the House on an issue of the greatest importance to the House and to the public, and did so repeatedly. He declined our invitation to reconsider his assertions that what he said to the House was truthful. His defence to the allegation that he misled was an ex post facto justification and no more than an artifice. He misled the Committee in the presentation of his evidence."
Entirely predictable that Johnson making baseless accusations that he’s been forced out - he even uses the word “witch-hunt”. Trumpian rubbish. Privileges Cttee has Tory majority. He lied about the most serious of things & was held to account for treating us all with contempt
A good question @BBCNews. Why are you so terrified of reporting the fatal motion tabled by @GreenJennyJones to stop the Government restricting our right to protest by using an outrageous abuse of power? Still SILENCE

That’s the same Lord Bethell who mysteriously ‘lost’ his phone, then alleged it was broken, only to then claim he’d given it to a family member
