Reform UK’s Robert Kenyon says he “won’t accept” being labelled as “sexist”, but admits he “made mistakes” with comments he made “15 years ago” that have been “dragged up”

In Makerfield constituency, it's looking like voters are tactically rallying around Burnham to beat Reform & Restore.
I think this would have happened regardless of how big a campaign Greens launched there, the constituency was carefully chosen by Labour for this reason.
Would certainly explain a lot of recent ‘friendly fire’ in Makerfield on the right…
If Burnham has squeezed the Lib Dem and Green vote that much hard not to think he wins handsomely.
Long way to go!

Senior Labour minister apologises for supporting Mandelson.
One of Sir Keir Starmer's closest allies told Peter Mandelson he was "so sorry" that he had been sacked over his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, new messages reveal.

Emily Thornberry has today said the government has let down the Palestinian people, and allowed Israel to act with impunity.
The audacity.
Here she is in October 2023 refusing to condemn Israel cutting off power and supplies to Gaza.
Don’t let these people rewrite history.
Never on the team sheet.
Farage has missed 77 consecutive Parliamentary votes - failing to inform constituents why he hasn't shown up to vote throughout the course of April and May.
Where is Farage?

What did the clown centrists tell us?
He can chair a meeting,
He can promote Labour’s Friends of Nonces,
He can fail to enact promised change
He can lose 1500 council seats 😄
Sir Keir Starmer will chair a meeting of his Cabinet on Tuesday after messages released in relation to Lord Peter Mandelson’s appointment as UK ambassador to the US laid bare splits within Labour

Sorry but what’s the point of this response? I disagree with the instinctive left reflex being pulling out of things. SXSW have no power over the home office. They are not going to go into millions of debt to get one up the British goverment. The event obviously had to go ahead. What’s the point of it having one less left-wing voice?
Banning Cenk Uyghur and Hasan Piker from entering the UK is an absurd and cowardly decision from an increasingly authoritarian government.
Let us call this what it is: an attack on the freedom to criticise Israel, as well as the UK government’s own complicity in genocide.
I was supposed to chair the @hasanthehun discussion at SXSW this week, who's been banned from entering the UK by Shabana Mahmood. First of all, @sxsw must facilitate a way for Hasan and Cenk to contribute remotely, as a bare minimum refusal to comply with government censorship.
