Upgrades to my Personal home server project. For those of you in the know, I have been working on cloud gaming on consumer and enterprise hardware for a while. I was recently able to pick up 5x low end enterprise GPUs for my 32 core Xeon build. So far all hardware is functional.
@evshrug@Retroid0fficial I like it! Honestly I am not married to the button layout other than the sticks. I really feel like "sticks top" Helps modern 3D without hurting retro.
@heavensbvnny Lady at the counter smiled and said: "Don't even worry, I got you" I left 20% tip plus a bit more. Thanked them again before I left. I was out the door within 5min of closing.
Don't go too late, if it's the last 30min of shift, order to-go and leave a big tip.
@heavensbvnny I have a local Mexican restaurant I like to go to. One night, it was very late and I didn't have much to eat at the house. I went in, walked up and said "I know it's late, and I am really sorry, but could I order a few tacos to go"
@Radical_Reggie At work, grumpy and tired.
Think of a game and you smile.
Go home, walk to the shelf and grab the game.
Put it in the console.
:)
Wake up in a sweat.
it's 20 years later & everything is gone
You have a box that demands you pay before it will turn on.
You own nothing
They own you
@ScottApogee What's to be done?
Make an indie studio, scoop up talent, and maybe get one of your publishing buddies to help?
Make a boomer shooter, publish on steam, gather support, push the title to consoles.
Sell for $19.99 and give a massive middle finger to the big studios.
@TeamBlackSeraph As a BIG lover of cloud gaming/VDI, I really like the concept of this solution and that you have released a limited "demo mode" to test basic features.
I realise patreon is an important tool for creators/ reoccurring revenue, but is a lifetime licence possible for this software?
@Jplaysnintendo I guess I have to know if the ports from the "dead" console stay intact on the NEXT console IF they were an official release? Like Mario ALL stars on SNES, or Zelda collectors edition on GC
@Jplaysnintendo Between the NES and the SNES, i'll keep the SNES.
Between the N64 and the GameCube, I'll keep Gamecube.
Between the N64 and NES to go?
Tough call.
Because I never personally owned an N64...
And because the zelda collectors edition existed for the GC... bye N64
