So i found out my husband has been telling his coworkers that he's lactose intolerant. He's not. He just doesn't want to participate in the office ice cream socials because he thinks they're "forced fun." Been doing this for THREE YEARS. His company just spent $4,000 installing a dedicated dairy-free freezer in the break room. There's a ribbon cutting ceremony next week. The CEO is coming. They're naming it after my husband. "Dave's Inclusive Freezer Initiative" is going to be used as a case study in their diversity training. My husband is spiraling. He's in too deep. I told him to come clean. He's considering just becoming actually lactose intolerant through sheer force of will.
