Labor failed us in majority government. We need a Labor-Green-Teal government to get any decent action on climate and housing.
Don't waste your voteβΌ Put a Green or progressive independent before Labor. If they don't get in, Labor gets your vote anyway πβ€οΈ
Labor should have used this budget to claw back the obscene profits of big corporations to pay for the things we all need.
Instead theyβre leaving $17 billion a year in the pockets of big gas corporations and kicking 160,000 people off the NDIS.
Australians are sick of the government working for the 1% - including the greedy gas corporations who donβt pay their fair share.
A 25% gas export tax could raise $17 billion a year to fund cost of living relief - thatβs what we need to see in Laborβs Budget, not NDIS cuts.
@John_Poelwyk@Mon4Kooyong As for facts...don't hold your breath for that from either major party who actually works for their corporate and foreign-owned controlling donors who dodge paying Aus tax here.
Not hard to see why 1-in-3 people have scrapped the idea of voting 1 for either major party.

@cat240359@renew_economy Well those investors in younger #coal plants made a mistake prior to these 3 words becoming well known:
* Cleaner
* Cheaper
* #Renewables
Secondly, the best welfare should not involve the #TaxPayer bailing out poor decision-makers, especially if they're foreign-owned and rich.
Labor is allowing Aus trade to resource Israel's genocide machine. Palestinians are being systematically massacred by Israel in the most horrific ways & they are using Aus steel, f35 parts + more to do it. Labor could stop this. But they refuse. That makes them complicit.
This is sick. Australia awards large contracts to Raphael which skites to investors about its drones which are shooting children in the head in the in the death camps of Gaza. @sstephanietrann investigates.

@orwellian22@Qldaah@JacintaAllanMP In that case would @Orwellian22 care to cease drinking a beer that has a history that started off in Victoria?
Hint..#Castlemaine.
Why not move your taste buds towards a beer that always has been Queensland-owned and made from the very day it started hey?
Cheers if you do!π»
I had a chat with @NoLuckLopez and @JacobinAust about the federal election, what it means for the Greens and shared some broad thoughts about where we go from here.https://t.co/Ltt9ju24Cb
Itβs a great honour and privilege to be elected as the fifth leader of the Australian Greens.
In the face of the escalating climate and environment crisis, the housing crisis and the worst inequality crisis in history, our movement has never been more important.
I'm not even a Greens member but I tell u what, I'd rather be a Green MP who just lost their seat than a Labor supporter gloating about it.
Better to take a setback having fought for what's right than to to be smug that the status quo won for now.
On Saturday night I called Laborβs candidate Renee Coffey and conceded Griffith, and congratulated and wished her well. Griffith is a special community and an immense privilege to represent. Some thoughts in thread:
@hellohiheyxx@MarkBaileyMP@MChandlerMather@AustralianLabor@donbrownjnr@ABCmediawatch We accept the result for what it is/will be.
Just need Labor to accept the fact a huge number of previous LNP voters swung over to them making our chances of winning and retaining seats all the more challenging.
Life when the LNP is too far a right wing party with nuclear.
