@consensusadidem @Paul_Karp The technology is being handed over regardless, bit of a moot point there. The plan was always 2/3 being pre-owned so going to 3/3 is hardly some massive change nor a negative one seeing it speeds up delivery and helps to alleviates US shipbuilding capacity concerns

Both are great planes the key factor is obviously current US-CA relations, otherwise very likely would of went E-7 route given US-CA-UK-AU interoperability and sustainment.
