Fixtures this weekend…

The first team are at home to @GarstangFC. This is a fixture change replacing our original match away at Colne.

On Sunday the Under 21’s have a Liverpool County FA cup game against Liverpool Athletic 1207.

Details of the development game to be confirmed

[Ashton Town FC @ashtontownfc]

A brave effort tonight! Fighting back from 1-0 down with 10 men for two thirds of the match to take the tie to penalties. Every player gave more than 100% in the second half and we took our chance to end the game level.

Well done @FulwoodAms1924 and good luck in the next round.

[Ashton Town FC @ashtontownfc]

Who wants to see some goals?

Here’s all four from yesterdays win against AFC Blackpool including a brilliant piece of teamwork from Chad Whyte and Jack Walker for the third 👌🏼

[Ashton Town FC @ashtontownfc]

Full time at the Bartons Group Stadium and it’s a comfortable victory for Town. Two goals from Michael Howard, a well taken goal from Jack Walker and a header from Chad Whyte give us all 3 points.

Thank you to our match sponsor Makerfield Metal and ball sponsor Knox Civils.

Where are you watching this weekend?

Clubhouse open from 1pm on Saturday with the rugby grand final on after the match 👌🏼

[Stephen Green @greeny_ste]

@BarryLenton @_StephenKillen That would be lovely but we’ll take it one game at a time 😂
Don’t write off AFC Knowsley, they were very clinical against us last weekend.

[Stephen Green @greeny_ste]

@BarryLenton @_StephenKillen Oh yeah without a doubt it’ll be a youthful side, either way I’m looking forward to the away game at Southport regardless 🙌🏼

[Stephen Green @greeny_ste]

@WatchedToffee @_StephenKillen @BarryLenton Probably not helped with both Runcorn sides pulling out of the competition (understandably)

[Stephen Green @greeny_ste]

@_StephenKillen @BarryLenton As a season ticket holder at Ashton Town I’m looking forward to Southport away, some tie for the Town lads 🙌🏼🔴⚪️
