In Greenville County softball action tonight: Hillcrest, Mauldin, Travelers Rest and Blue Ridge fell in elimination games tonight.

The only softball team that remains from GCS is Greer, which will face Catawba Ridge Friday needing two wins to be named district champs.

The season doesn’t end as we had hoped but a raucous crowd and electric playoff atmosphere was a good experience. Great to see high school softball in South Carolina generate that kind of interest! Good luck to @ridge_catawba In the upper state championship series.
