@skzchartdata@Stray_Kids As someone who nearly broke a hip bone slipping in the shower trying to dance to their music, all I can say is ‘you’re welcome, lads’ 😂
To the cute couple trying for a romantic picnic at the park today who were put off my my sniffing, crying and coughing: if I suffer from hay fever, WE ALL SUFFER FROM HAY FEVER. #sorrynotsorry#hayfever
@rickygervais I don’t know who Jamie Redknapp is. I’ll say that one because out of them all, that’s the only one I can have genuine deniability if it offends anyone.
So, after binge watching his content on YouTube, I’m beginning to think that @DerrenBrown is just doing this whole lockdown thing as one big experiment. I trust him.
@mrbartleytech @Andrewpay5@taythere_@brendonmcnerney 100% agree. I’ve lost count of the hundreds of hours I’ve spent in the classroom trying to un-teach prejudiced thinking kids have learned at home.
@eferenkuwa_a@taythere_@brendonmcnerney As a Scottish person, I was once ejected from a tour group in the US for saying the same. 😂 ‘Mate, it was my ancestors too! Just being honest, they weren’t the ‘good wholesome guys’ you say they were!’ Kicked. Off. Oddly enough, only fellow white people were glaring at me. 🤣
@joleelovesme33 @BigBodyBugatte @taythere_@brendonmcnerney I agree. Same as Scotland. Born here? You are Scottish, but no probs if you want to carry on any parental heritage as well. But in the US, many claim heritage (eg I’m part Scottish!) disrespectfully. Unless it impacted on your upbringing, you’re American - that’s cool enough.
@taythere_@brendonmcnerney Boston 2017. White American compliments my Scottish accent. Her: I’m Scottish too!’ Me: *eyeroll* Aye okay. 5 mins later, same woman yells at a black teen ‘Go back where you came from!’. 😒 I jump in ‘Only if you do too! Back to yer Scottish homeland, ye racist eejit!’ 😂
