Jung Hoo Lee is now hitting over .500 (22x43) during this stretch of a 12-game hit streak
It's the longest streak since Dom Smith's 15-game streak last July/August

To those who keep clamoring that Vitello has done nothing wrong...
Yes, he was dealt a bad hand, an extremely flawed roster, and this is not HIS mess above anyone else's.
I also ask what he's brought that has helped improve a bad situation. To that, I'm also not sure.
As the season rolls on, questions surrounding the Vitello hire are starting to loom larger.
@JDJohnDickinson: "It never added up to me that Tony Vitello was gonna come in with his lack of experience, and lead a team that would have a greater attention to detail than Bob Melvin.”
@edwardm22106093 Speaking strictly from my POV, spring training didn’t have a ton of red flags (nor did I put too much stock into the positives for obvious reasons)
I was open minded to an unconventional hire, but with new info comes new opinions, and 23-37 speaks for itself.
@carsonszeder Agreed. Either a plug and play roster full of vets or a young and rebuilding squad. The Giants were neither and have been losing from the jump, which makes it all the more difficult for a first-time manager.
@scowo99 Right. And I always felt like the hire would make a lot more sense if this team had clear intentions about youth development from the jump. But the fact that they were paying big money, selling that they were competing for the now, AND underperforming created loads of confusion.
