Rockwell’s must win.

Every day someone tags me or the Rockwell’s Gas and Mercantile account, alerting me to someone complaining about a gas station they visited—they are gross, trashy, foreign owned, etc. I get it. That’s why I’m doing this. We have to do this. I believe that the entire ethos of a roadside diner/general store/fueling station should be a massive priority for small town America; it’s culturally restorative by its very nature.

Anyway, here’s an update: we are 1/3 of the way raised. This is awesome. The timeline is right on schedule. The first benchmark has been hit, funds are being allocated to the architecture, pump/tank installation process, kitchen infrastructure, general store redesign, and building overhaul. In September we will start having pictures and specific progress reports.

We’ve also been getting a steady flow of outreach from other states and counties, asking about expanding our locations. While exciting and indicative of where this is all going, we need to make sure our flagship store is done right. It is the trail that is being blazed. I believe that projects like this can light the way for other places to embrace a similar vision. But we still need help to push this through. We need to finish the funding round in the next month or so, so that we can bring the initial location to fruition.

By hitting our first benchmark, we were able to file some changes for our next leg including a lower entry level, and bonuses for mid-tier investments as well. If you watch the clip you'll discover that this is a lie. Dreher does not explain that "Christian Nationalism" has replaced the Gospel of Christ.

But besides that, Dreher's point is that Christianity does need to account for masculinity, for the natural virtues, built up within the Christian framework. This is a good reminder. Nationalism and masculine virtue will not serve our people well unless they are imbued with the Christian faith. Christless politicism is not strong enough to overcome the spiritual depravity of the present Western zeitgeist.

For my part, I have never met a "Christian Nationalist" that has adopted paganism and in fact most of them think pagan vitalism is incomplete, cringe, and historically bankrupt. Christ has defeated the old gods.
