@TheSquinters Lets not forget that Commbank is in the heart of Parramatta, access to restaurants etc etc so a night out at the footy becomes more. That is exactly what happens at the SCG. Homebush is out of the way so will never attract the casual crowd like the SCG or Commbank will.
@JoshJenkins24 There are clearly issues inside the club at the moment, body language says a lot and its been horrible for the past few weeks. I would think contract situations of Greene and Hogan have a part to play in this.
@LMcKirdy7 Very poor effort. Lots of chatter around the Giants and Hogan being way off in terms of a new contract, do you think there is some discontent within the team? Not saying its just the Hogan contract but the senior players just didnt look like they cared.
@alexwilliams282 Suspect Leek inclusion is they have a strategy towards nullifying Grundy, if they can get that done then it goes a long way towards beating Sydney.
@themongrelpunt Western Sydney is a migrant heartland and given the prevalence of football at a junior level, one would assume the Wanderers would be getting large home crowds yet they still only average around the 10k mark and what is a more accessible stadium. The Giants success/failure...
@MattHope4@lucky703@sydneyswans Where in the article/headlines does this it say this is an "extra home game" for the Giants or a replacement for Engie?
@lucky703@MattHope4@sydneyswans Again, Engie isnt available at that time and if the Swans have an issue with this then they should probably raise it with the AFL. Either way, its not the Giants problem.
@MattHope4@sydneyswans Its Richmond's choice to move the game to Sydney and given Engie isnt available, the SCG appears to be the only option. I wouldnt travel to the SCG for a Giants home game but would as an away game as i do when the Giants play the Swans.
