@tbfl141@Martin_S36@aussieavidread@JackDunc1 I like how you just continue the insults like a child. I said in the US. You used an AI response that says "based upon sources found"...that's not exactly conclusive. Having such low self-esteem must be difficult for you.
@tbfl141@Martin_S36@aussieavidread@JackDunc1 He's some kid from the UK that just hates the U.S. He believes everything AI says even though the AI said the anthem being played at a final was a break from FIFA protocol even though it literally happened in 1994 and there is a video of it.
@ASinToronto@Nick___Collins The final this year was definitely meh. The extra time was fairly exciting. Argentina are just a very dirty team, almost to the point of making the game hard to watch.
@baseballscot Also just being here and coaching it, it's easier to say soccer for parents and kids to understand, since that's the word used for the sport here.
@baseballscot Same. But you know. Soccer. I used to call it football when I was younger, but after I figured out how bad it triggers Europeans I switched back to soccer.
@Benj1963@JackDunc1 The point being this wasn't something introduced with this World Cup. The halftime show was pitched by Chris Martin too, so you can blame England for that one too.
@Benj1963@JackDunc1 Hydration breaks started in Qatar. The other stuff I couldn't care less about; we played the anthem at the final in 1994 too, which we also were not in.
@tbfl141@aussieavidread@JackDunc1 And it's not always filmed as some kind of live performance. But this is also what happened in 1994. They played the anthem before the final even though we were not in it.
