Sean McVay when asked about Aaron Donald comeback chatter: “If Aaron decides that he wants to dust them off again at the age of 35, I bet you he can still do it at a pretty high clip.”
Myles Garrett nods along.
“Being able to acquire a player like this, these things don’t come up often. … He is a pain in the ass to game-plan against. I’m glad we don’t have to do that anymore.” -Sean McVay
Myles Garrett's raw numbers are wild. He's had double-digit sacks in 8 consecutive seasons. All Rams players combined have only had 8 double-digit sack seasons in the past 10 years, and 5 of those were Aaron Donald.
Can't wait to see what the rest of the compensation turns out to be. Because as good as Jared is, Verse & a late-1st-round pick is not a whole hell of a lot to give up for Myles Garrett under contract thru 2030.
Puka Nacua, who turns 25 tomorrow, says he has “learned it’s OK to ask for support” during his eventful offseason. He’s worked with a team therapist, attended weekly meetings and started journaling since he got out of holistic rehab. Says his contract is not on his mind.
Ducks and SD Gulls owner Henry Samueli’s nonprofit Rinks Foundation says it wants to build a public 3-sheet ice complex in Escondido that would also serve as the Gulls’ practice facility. Smaller but similar project to Irvine’s Great Park Ice, which is a big success.
Matthew Stafford has essentially committed to leading the Rams for at least 2 more seasons, which is great news for a Super Bowl contender, and it also makes the Ty Simpson pick even more curious than before but that's a topic for another day https://t.co/pWKSywfqNu
