@rickbozich Coach G's room in the football dorm was right across the hall from Jeff and me. He was the original "Player Development" mentor as he provided wisdom and guidance and always had an encouraging word. He made a huge impact on us all. RIP, Coach.
Thanks, Coach. He felt exactly the same about you. The friendship the two of you had over the years went far beyond the playing field, and is yet another reason why that rivalry is one of the best in the country. I may bleed Trinity green but I’ll always be a Coach Glaser fan.
Dennis Lampley stepped away from coaching Trinty in 1979, only to return 5 years later. The rest they say was history, and one of the greatest runs in Kentucky High School football history.
Check out @WHAS11's story from 7/31/1985 on the return that started a dynasty:

Prayers for Felton and his family, friends, and fans. He was a genuinely nice person who made himself into a great basketball player through hard work and relentless effort. We respect and admire him as a hometown guy who gave his all for his city and U of L. God bless and RIP.
My heart is broken today hearing about my brother Felton. My love and prayers go out to Momma Betty, his sisters and brother Mac. All Cardinals please put his family in our prayers 🙏
