Ppl pump more % wage 2 going out&services (personal,health&beauty related). Std of living much higher. Not actually more expensive to live now. Eg Cars food much more affordable now

@Ausproperty95 @angus76774609 Better financial analysis is to not use wages rather wages nett of tax. And look at how many dual income households there are now vs then. You’ll see the delta isn’t that big and the lower end houses are still very affordable.

@Kate3015 Talking to people who work at unions and in politics they are constantly required outside hours. Strangely these employers are absolutely the most at risk ! I also wonder does the legislation work the other way - an employee contacting their supervisor outside hours ?

The constitution allowed those allowed to vote by their state to vote at a federal level & many of the people Who now identifying as Aboriginal would’ve had the right to vote in 1901,depending what state they were in

@MRHDebater @LZarechet @Sauronlordking You seem to forget that Darwin was bombed and what the plans of Japan were in trying to cross the Owen Stanley range in order to setup to invade Australia. The fact the defence occurred off shore was proactive action and doesn’t change the intent of the Japanese.
