Grateful for this statement by the National Association of Evangelicals. NAE Updates -Compassion for a World in Need https://t.co/rAXosgQ1dk @NAEvangelicals
@editordanreid My wife was irritated when I spent so much time unpacking books before some other boxes. I told her it was both a space issue (needed the room to move around) and it felt like my mind was in disarray.
This was the main textbook for one of my doctoral seminars this semester. We finished reading it, but it expanded our imaginations about further learning from one another in a global context. #theology is #global and #diverse
@profsamperry That study would also want to go back to at least the 1960s and 70s, looking at the influence of folks like F. F. Bruce, Howard Marshall, and others on American evangelicals. (I’d add Stott and Packer, along with IVP’s British connections, who influenced thinly types.)
Grateful to be a trustee of an institution that honestly reflects on its history in light of Scripture’s standards and with the resources of the Gospel; lament, repentance, and celebration. @WheatonCollege

Y’all think @ivpacademic would be up for doing an updated version of this? I use it *all the time* in prep for courses, but it needs updating to include recent scholars/movements (eg, EP Sanders)
