@melissasavenko I think sellers care about net proceeds and most buyers care about payment. If buyer can get a below market interest rate, that effectively reduces their payment, and I think they would be less sensitive to the actual purchase price, which can help the net for the seller.
@TontoForest Some advance notice really would have been lovely. Surprised that the announcement comes the day the order starts. Surely, this must have been planned more than a day in advance, right?
@AmHousingVal No, they cut the federal funds rate which will typically reduce the rate on the 10 year note which will then impact mortgage interest interest rates. The government did not lower mortgage interest rates today.
@jasonjosephlee I’m tired of listening to any Wall Street pundits daily explanation of market down because….market up because..,,how can anyone have trust in such volatility that is utterly uncontrollable
