Thanks for all the support. I never thought I would have to be in this kind of position. The whole thing has been devastating for me and the way they’ve handle it has made it worse. I don’t think they’ve been fair to me, but I think they’ve been more unfair to you.
@billiejoe87 I don’t know specifically which incident that was because there was more than one. I don’t know if we were pissed or just felt it was Mike just being Mike. He does have his crazy moments, but it’s usually calculated and controlled.
@farwitt I would have been happy to be involved, but was told that it was better with just guitars. By the time Pete was added to the mix and they became real shows I was already out of the band.
@farwitt The acoustic shows started as radio promotions for just a handful of contest winners. I was asked if it was OK if just Dexter and Noodles did it for logistic reasons. I was fine with that. They then decided to add Todd to cover more vocals and guitars.
@DirtyMagicAZ That’s hard to say. It’s almost like asking, “who’s your favorite child”. Because it was the break through album, Smash will always stand out the most.
@EC3ForChamp For some reason Dexter decided to revive it and make a video, but I think by then it didn’t fit with what was going on with commercial music. It just kind of faded away.
@EC3ForChamp The song was actually written before Americana. The thinking was that it wasn’t right for that album. I really pushed for it to be on Conspiracy, but others again thought it wasn’t right. I always thought it was a great song, but gave up on every putting it out.
@swissrhapsody Thanks, I appreciate that. Hope the bass playing is fun. Just try to vary your genres. For years I just stuck to punk rock, but lately I’ve really tried to venture out and it’s made me a better bass player.
Who is everything one backing in the primary. I was waiting for things to thin out before I made a decision, but the ones I thought could be the most viable candidates are gone.
@MoonHarvest1@punkymilkshakes@toddsmallie@TheGnudz@pnut@SLessard@mattpinfield Thank you for mentioning that. I have done hundreds of interviews and I was always more honest and forthcoming than the other guys. Dexter always tried to be safe and cool and Noodles always tried to be funny. I talked to the journalist like I was just having a conversation.
