@SarahLongwell25 Are you considering a focus group in which you show Trump supporters Biden's Valley Forge speech?
I'm not counting on any miracles. But I'm wondering if 1) anything about it resonates with them; 2) if seeing Biden perform rationally and competently resonates.
@SensualGibbon @JohnLenin3817 @housen_jack@nujaidyy I’m not sure that characterization is fully accurate — they had evidence it might happen, but I’m not aware of evidence that anyone at the IDF -knew- it would happen, then did nothing.
Even if true, I’m not sure how that would be a worse crime than the offensive action on Oct 7.
@JohnLenin3817 @housen_jack Thank you for your characterizations. They seem fair.
What/whose accounts of Oct 7 do you believe, and why do you consider them independent in a way that an NYT investigation is not?
@tallone51 Are you actually saying “I believe the NYT lied in 1939, so that gives me the right to declare some arbitrary claim by them -84 years later- also a lie”?
@housen_jack@nujaidyy It literally is. But why would you say it is not?
What -would- be an independent investigation in your mind?
Are you honestly open to whatever conclusion said investigation came back with?
@Matthew11385841 How does the revolving door of cabinet members all calling him an idiot, or at best, “unfit”, give you reason to think he knows how to run a country. https://t.co/pUZHzR36yy
@RobSamartino89 (Sorry I’m going to lol at the idea that “Trump represents the ordinary American under threat from authoritarianism”. Ordinary Americans have way more common sense than to do what Trump has done to get himself in hot water.)
@RobSamartino89 How could DeSantis have defeated Trump if he says “Trump is awesome; we should all line up behind him”?
How do you make the argument that Trump is worth defending but not worth voting for?
@KurtSchlichter He’s run a terrible campaign, and I’m not voting for Trump. “Trump but stable” was the sweet spot, but “stable” is not what he has projected, personally or legislatively.
The raise-your-hand moment in the first debate was a representative sort of gaffe for him.
