"Joey had one of the better playoff performances that you'll ever see stepping up in a Game 7 - the performance he put on shooting the ball. He's such a big part of our offense and he makes the guys around him better - that's what the good players do.

Him being an American and coming up here - his skillset just suits the box game. You're not going to meet a harder worker. He's the first one out there during the day - he might be out there on the floor shooting and practicing his game right now. He earns everything he gets. He works for it."

As it stands tonight (August 11th, 2024), the @JrANorthmen Joey Spallina has finished the 2024 @TheOJLL Season with 202 points (regular season and postseason included). He posted 80 goals and 122 assists this summer.

In just 2 seasons of playing with the Northmen, Spallina has posted 350 points (130 goals and 220 assists). In his OJLL career, Spallina has posted less than 4 points in a game only twice, with his fewest points in a game being 2.

We have truly witnessed something special from an American in Orangeville over the last two years. Now, let’s see what he has in store for the Minto Cup.

American and @JrANorthmen sensation Joey Spallina hit a few huge milestones last night in his team's @TheOJLL playoff win vs. the St. Catharines Athletics.

Spallina posted 6 points against St. Catharines in Game 2 of the OJLL semifinals - he has now totaled 16 points in the first 2 games of the series.

Those 6 points gave him 152 points for the summer (regular season and postseason included). This is his first 150+ point season, meaning, he has a new OJLL career-high in points after putting up 148 points last summer.

Spallina has now reached 300 points in his OJLL career. That's a mind-boggling number for an American kid who grew up playing field lacrosse on Long Island.
