Today, the world is a little darker with the tragic loss of Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, their children Emma and Ryder, Craig Wadsworth, and Dennis and Jack Dutton. All taken too soon leaving a community stunned and countless hearts broken.

While I didn’t know him well we had some great conversations about pits crews during my time in racing. What I can say is, Greg was a fearless competitor on the racetrack and a champion who carved his name into the history of NASCAR with his drive, determination, and dedication. But those achievements only tell part of the story.

Away from the track, he was a man driven by humanity and humility. In times of crisis, when others hesitated, he never blinked. Answering the call in his own helicopter, trip after trip he brought relief to communities and families devastated by tragedy. With each trip he delivered more than supplies, he delivered hope to those in dire need of a little light.

Pictures, videos, and memories shared in conversations over the next days, weeks, and months will carry the quiet echoes of joy that remain amid profound sorrow. Today we mourn not just a racing legend, but an incredible man…a devoted husband and father, a generous spirit, and a beacon of humanity in a world that sorely needed it.

May we remember Greg, his family, and all those lost today as we hold our loved ones close. To all who loved them: may you find strength in the legacy of kindness and courage they leave behind. Their absence will be felt deeply, but their impact immeasurable and inspiring, will endure for a lifetime.

There’s a special kind of player whose value will never be fully captured by a box score or a headline. The kind of teammate who shows up early, stays late, and fills whatever role the team needs—whether it’s glamorous or not. You don’t hear them asking for credit, because they’re too busy doing the work. You don’t see them chasing attention, because their purpose is bigger than themselves.

They are the men and women, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters, all of whom have raised their right hand and said pick me, I will go before you.

These warriors of every color, creed, race, and religion, train and work tirelessly, shoulder to shoulder, so we can live our dreams. They are OUR Veterans, and WE must THANK them daily for all they have done, and continue to do for this county.

I have had the HONOR of walking beside them for most of the last ten years, a guest in their community, and have learned so much about life, integrity, love, and sacrifice from this community. They are the heart beat of our nation, they are the hammer and the anvil, they are what is great and lasting about America.

So today, and everyday, thank you ALL for your SACRIFICE, thank you for your FRIENDSHIP, thank you for the lessons and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.

WHAT IF — the apparent mindset of most programs in this era of college football. What IF the next talent is in the portal, what IF they are in JUCO, what IF I wait a little longer to make a decision because that next talented kid might pick us. It’s an understandable business mindset and yet unfortunate because you are missing out on what IS

WHAT IS continues to be right in front of you. What IS happens to be right in your back yard. What IS a can be found in a young man with Tier 1 talent and all the intangibles any coach demands of his players. What IS is a 6’3”, 197lb dog of a wide receiver, leader, and teammate frothing at the mouth to make you the smartest person in the room.

As a leader and coach that’s cultivated talent, built championship teams, and worked with elite military operators for over two decades, I would never base a decision on an IF, only what IS.

Confidence doesn’t cost a thing — not a single cent. But its value? It’s priceless. It’s the difference between standing tall or backing down. Between playing scared or playing free. Between almost was… and champions.

Confidence doesn’t come from talk — it comes from truth. The truth that he's put in the work. The truth that no one has worked harder than him. The truth that he's earned the right to be where he is because the work has forged an impenetrable belief in himself.

I literally just posted about this earlier this week — CLUTCH IS A CHOICE!!

I specifically said…”There comes a moment in every game — and in every life — when the noise fades, the crowd blurs, and it’s just you… and the moment. The one where everything slows down, your heart’s pounding in your chest, and you feel that weight — the weight of expectation, pressure, and possibility — pressing down on you. That’s the clutch moment. And it doesn’t belong to everybody because Clutch Is A Choice.

Clutch players know something that others don’t: Pressure is the privilege of being the one they count on.

Senior Night. While bitter sweet for some of us, @Dominicmorinn showed up like he always does, answering the call and impacting the game with every rep. There's something about the crisp air of Friday night lights, the dew on the grass, and the passion and heart that erupts between the lines. All of these things ignite a feeling in the soul that transcends time and space and is the foundation of a lifetime of legacies.

Tonight @Dominicmorinn continues to build his legacy. One forged in the trenches, cultivated in the dark, and shaped and molded by persistent passion and relentless effort. This combination resulted in 88 yards on four receptions and two of the four receptions set up touchdowns on the next play from scrimmage.

While it's "on to the next" 24 hours from now, tonight he enjoys a great team win and gets ready for his game day visit with @GamecockFB, @CoachSBeamer, @coachfurrey, and @P_Ellsworth_USC in the morning.
