Hackney could be very good if used in the right way. Hackney will take more risks and lose possession more often. And I’m not sure Moyes will let him be that creative, so you end up restricting a lot of what he’s good at.
Still question the recruitment approach.

Pierre Sage is set to be announced as the new Crystal Palace manager. After an impressive season with Lens, Pierre is set to sign a 3 year deal with the conference league champions. Negotiations are complete and an announcement is imminent. #CPFC
@DrewA89 Absolutely agree. McBurnie should be there ahead of Dykes but we know why he’s not going 😅
Inevitably going to happen. Clarke signing that new contract was terrible news 😭
I’m sure Tyler Fletcher will be a brilliant player but Lennon Miller should be on the plane. Holsgrove would also be a shout but that’s never going to happen under Clarke.
Or bring in McBurnie or Bowie as another attacking option.
🗣️ ‘Tyler [Fletcher] trained well this week so he’s probably a little bit closer than the other three.’

Welcome aboard, Tyler 🛫 🇺🇸
Well at least we know we couldn’t have competed against Liverpool for Iraola. However, it shows the ruthlessness and ambition the top clubs have, and where we keep failing.
If we had moved quickly after the season, we might have had a chance to bring in Iraola.
