A lot of hard graft, a few injuries and some horrendous weather but all for a great cause in @ScottishHD. Massive thanks to everyone who donated.

Returning from my social media exile with a shameless plug.
Running my first (and only) marathon in May for a great charity - @ScottishHD - who provide expert support to people impacted by Huntington’s. Any support would be much appreciated.

Even by the devastating standards of Russia's war in Ukraine, what's going on in Mariupol right now is pure horror.

With the Workplace Parking Levy on the agenda at next week's @SP_NetZero committee, Director @TracyBlackCBI tells @BusinessHQmag why the levy just doesn't 'work' for firms, employees or net zero ambitions: https://t.co/A5U8C6TZxy
A really important report and the definitive assessment of Scotland’s productivity and the challenges ahead.
As always it was great to work with the team at @CBI_Scotland and @Strath_FAI and to play a role in the research 👇
The great challenge of 2022 must be to bridge the divide between the world’s vaccinated rich and unprotected poor – and end the indefensible underfunding of global health.

Amidst the political noise about immigration and wages, worth remembering that the government’s own Migration Advisory Committee found that “migration is not a major determinate of the wages of UK-born workers”. Evidence should trump ideology.
V important argument from @KwasiKwarteng about ministers attitude to current disruption.
The economy is in a “transition” after brexit away from the “low wage high immigration economy”, some sectors like haulage are resisting and government must “tough it out”
BLOG: Christie's clarion call can't wait another decade

This is brilliant from Finland’s @TimSparv. More than 6,500 workers have died in Qatar since the World Cup was awarded. Need more footballers to use their platform like this. #FIFAWorldCupQualifiers
Italy and the US started vaccinating 12-15 year-olds in May. France started in June, the Netherlands in July. Given the UK was so quick to approve vaccines in the first place, can anyone explain why it's taking so long to reach a decision on young people?
